Steel is what we build in.

Modern steel tubing is light, stiff and available in differing grades and brands.

Variations in wall thicknesses and butting allow us to choose the right tube set for your flying gate frame.

Over the years we have used different tube sets and have found that the most appropriate Reynolds tubing to use for the flying gate is their 725 series. The combination of optimum wall thickness in both the main part of the tube and the butt area, and the heat treatment after manufacture make this our go to Reynolds tube set.

But why stop at using only one tube set. We regularly use a mix of tubes from Reynolds and Columbus.

By selecting tubes from more than one series or manufacturer we can build what we think is the best frame possible for your needs.

We use a company that we consider to be the very best in the trade with an excellent reputation. However, we cannot take responsibility or provide a warranty for their work. Should a problem arise, we would certainly pursue the matter on your behalf, but the chroming company’s findings would be final. Any subsequent work e.g. respraying would not be covered under our warranty.

Please specify wether you have any ideas for custom chrome plating below

Your frame will be finished in a single colour as standard.
Until recently it was relatively easy to give an accurate price for extras such as lug lining and contrasting lug colours etc.
However recently it has become more complex as a number of frame enamellers have shut shop. That and the issue that any chrome plating added then affects the painting costs, means it is far better to let us know how you want to finish your frame. Then we can give you an accurate quote without any nasty shocks down the line. So feel free to use the paint specification sheet to try out your ideas, email it to us and we can make your dream paint scheme a reality.

When you have had your quote and you’re ready to order a non-refundable deposit of £350 is required.
This gets your place in the order book and the tube set for your frame. Once the frame is on the jig a stage payment is required.
The balance is due before delivery.
UK delivery is approx £35 for a frameset, international delivery cost varies depending on location.

Delivery: Most customers will come and collect in person but if you are unable to collect we would discuss the various options available for delivery.
